Serena Vinter

Srena Vinter joined the Evansdale Education Foundation Board at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. She and her husband, Ed, moved to the Evansdale community in 2013 in large part because of the school’s reputation. They are excited to send their twin 5-year olds off to Kindgergarten this fall.

Serena graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and later earned a Master of Health Science from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She moved to Atlanta in 2010 to take a job with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she currently works in the Center for Global Health. She is excited to bring her skills in partnership development, strategic planning, collaboration and communication to the Evansdale Foundation. Outside of work she enjoys exploring the parks and musuems of Atlanta with her kids, hiking in Western North Carolina with her family, and running with her dog, Juno, through the streets of the Evansdale neighborhood.
